I collect (or rather parishioners tend to send me) religious themed humorous cards. 
I value them not just because they provide a moment of joy,
    but also because they often give a deep insight into human nature
– a nature we can so often try to hide in so many self-damaging ways. 
Being able to laugh at ourselves, and with others, can be transformative.
